When you have a purpose and want to achieve results it often starts by just doing it. For us it’s a loud and clear; Empowered women, empower women. It’s the mission of our social enterprise and if you follow us for a while you couldn’t have missed it. What we love about it, it also includes you! The circle of empowering is what drives us every day in doing business.

While working with our team in Tondo, we consciously work on one of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. Goal nr 5 is to create gender equality. “Empowering women and girls to reach their full potential requires that they have equal opportunities to those of men and boys.” We are very grateful to work on this Goal for two generations together with our partner Bless the Children foundation. Not only our team of women can generate an income, but while they’re working, their children can go to school.

But the empowering doesn’t stop there. This team of incredible women, empowers us as well to build and expand with Notadaydream. Without their talent and drive to make beautiful products we wouldn’t have this business. Without the artisan talent of our weavers we wouldn’t have our sustainable and colorful fabrics. And without customers and partners we wouldn’t be empowered to generate this work at all. We all take part of empowering women; only team work, can make the dream work.
